We will begin your mid-term critique promptly at 1:00 in Room 318. It may not be possible for us to use another nearby room, so be ready to pin-up and remove your work as fast as possible.
Each of you will have fifteen minutes for your presentation and there will be five minutes for comments/discussion by the Committee. This is a formal presentation, so present your work in a form that is as close to its final form as possible so the members of the Committee have a very clear indication of what your intentions are without explanation. Dress as you would for a client meeting.
Required:
• a bulleted list of all projects you are presenting before the Committee (5 copies)
• a resume (if you have not done one up until now, just turn in the content of your resume based in the instructions in the Capstone I and II handouts, as a Word doc printed out in hard copy)
• business card with your own personal identity/logo
The Committee does not expect you to be presenting finishing work. We do expect you to present ALL of the work you are considering for your own professional portfolio and for your Senior Exit Show. It would be WISE to present this work in its most evolved form possible, so the Committee can give you the most productive suggestions moving it forward.
The Graphic Design Capstone Committee this semester consists of Joey, Cassie Hester, Mark Schoon, Debrah Santini, and a special guest critiquer. Each will fill out an evaluation of your overall work and presentation and give you a grade. These will be compiled and given to you next week. It is possible to pass or fail this critique.
Joey and Cassie have already reviewed your work so far this semester, so we will be looking for significant progress towards the best solution possible.
